Going all the way back to 1948, the year when the WHO (World Health Organisation) held the First-ever World Health Assembly. And it was then, that the date April 7 was bestowed with the honour of being celebrated as World Health Day! The Assembly decided to celebrate the day with effect from 1950. The day not only symbolises the state of the human body but also signifies the founding of the noted WHO. A matter of vital importance to the world is brought to the spotlight by the association.

Recognised by several countries and non-legislative organisations who share a similar viewpoint in matters of general health issues, World Health Day is a day when the world comes together to promote the theme and campaign for a better tomorrow.

The World Health Day is a worldwide health appreciation day praised each year on 7 April, under the guidance and promotion of the World Health Organisation (WHO), including other related associations.

Since its origin, medical problems and admittance to medical care have been enormously lobbied for by individuals everywhere on earth on this day. The WHO has an alternate theme each year that is celebrated for the duration of the day, which is featured in schools, classes, workshops, and is widely encouraged as conversation discussions.

The day is tied in with making mindfulness for medical issues of the poor and the less fortunate in districts all throughout the planet, reminding us to be thankful for our wellbeing.

Each April 7, the WHO decides to feature an extraordinary topic current in the health and clinical world. Going from psychological well-being to protection and prevention and everything in middle, this day establishes the pace for what's to come on the planet. One of the many themes celebrated on World Health Day is attention on medical caretakers and birthing assistants, the on-the-call, anxious labour force that make the medical care industry as we know it.
