Born on 16 February 1997 in the small village of Rindhana in Haryana’s Sonipat, he started playing kabaddi right from his childhood. The environment around him and the success of other kabaddi players from the village motivated him to join the sport. Narwal debuted for the Bengaluru Bulls in the season 2 of the Pro-Kabaddi League but shot to fame in the next season as a part of the Patna Pirates. He scored 92 raid points in the season- a great feat for a newbie and even went on to win the league’s title for the first time. There was no looking back for Pardeep now.

As a member of team India, he has won the Asian Kabaddi Championship, Dubai Kabaddi Masters and a gold medal at the South-Asian games.

He became Patna’s main raider and has led them to great victories. In 2016, he also debuted for team India at the Kabaddi World-Cup. No surprises here, India won the title of world champions.
