The fun fact is he sold all three of them and is currently positioned as the managing director of a production company, PVP Cinemas.

Entrepreneur, politician, philanthropist, and educator, Potluri Vara Prasad is undoubtedly someone who thrives on challenges with a business mind. With a city that has the youngest economy and ranks highly on ease of doing business, it is not surprising that Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh has benefited from his contributions.

Prasad hails from a decent family and was raised along with two of his siblings. After completing his graduation from Vijayawada, he chose to build a business in the outsourcing industry. He turned Procon Inc. into one of the largest players in US markets within two years of its establishment, with 225 employees and great revenues. After selling it for a handsome sum to RCM, Potluri never looked back.

When it came to developing businesses, Prasad was unstoppable. Following the founding of Albion Orion Company LLC in 2000, he subsequently founded IREVNA Ltd in 2001. Not only this, but both firms are leaders in their industry while distributing most or all profits to the owner they were sold to. Additionally, he is a Strategic Investor and Consultant for many reputable companies.

As a thought leader, Prasad is respected within the global investment community. Over the course of his career, he was instrumental in the growth of these companies, and he continued that passion with PVP Ventures Ltd. (Yes, his fourth company)

As one of the largest investors in the media and entertainment sector, PVP Ventures Ltd. considerably contributes to the financing of Tamil and Telugu films. Through his company PVP Ventures, he owns PVP Energy, PVP Cinema, and PVP Foundation.

Even as a philanthropist and technology enthusiast, the great business builder also believes in social upbringing. This is the outcome of his vision and foresight in the emerging disciplines of technical education that led to the establishment of Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology in Vijayawada in 1998.
