NDFF hosted by Atelier Theatre, embodies a new movement in New Delhi`s performing arts ecosystem - a platform for artists across diverse disciplines to showcase their work with absolute artistic freedom.
Join us to excavate the little-known stories of the women who through changing and often challenging times have continued to enrich the city's historical and cultural landscape. We will meander through streets around the Chandni Chowk area, sharing stories of Begums, shadow empresses, nautch girls, milk mothers havelis and harems in this delightful exploration of Delhi's Her-Story.
As we walk the by-lanes of Shahjahanabad look for stories of the bygone era, making the women who shaped the city and its history our focus point.
Milestones of our journey will be Digambar Jain temple, Gurudwara Sis Ganj, Begum Samru's haveli, Dariba & Kinari Bazar, Paranthewali Gali, Fatehpuri masjid, Kharibaoli.
