November 12, 1936, then Travancore king Chithira Thirunal made a public declaration that sent waves of shock and hope simultaneously. The declaration was historical, and Kerala was awake into the new morning as if the sun rose at midnight. It gave the suppressed people wings to fly, and we could shorten the declaration like this “No one should be denied the peace and calmness of the Hindu religion due to his or her birth. Therefore, from today, everybody is free to enter any temple under the government” (declaration from Sri Chithira Thirunal Ravivarma to be published on November 12, 1936)

भारत में भाषाएं,संस्कृति, रहन-सहन में विविधता पाई जाती है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि हर 4 किलोमीटर में भारत में भाषा में परिवतन हो जाती है जो भाषा के आधार पर भेदभाव को जन्म देता है। भारत के आजदी के बाद राष्ट निर्माणकर्ता के सामने ये चुनोती थी कि वो देश जिसमे अनेक चुनोतियों से प्रतिबद्ध है जिसमे न केवल भाषा बल्कि खान-पान,रहन-सहन आदि के आधार पर विभिनता मिलती है उस देश को एक साथ बांधे रखने का कार्ये मील का पत्थर था। आजाद भारत में देश कुछ ही राज्ये में बंटा हुआ था जैसे उस समय गुजरात एंड महाराष्ट एक ही थे, बिहार में झारखंड तथा असम में नागालेंड, मिजोरम, त्रिपुरा आदि थे। इन सभी राज्यो में अनेक भाषा बोलने वाले थे जी के लिए अलग राज्ये बने जैसे महाराष्ट से अलग हो कर गुजरात तथा बिहार से अलग हो कर झारखंड।

He was also closely associated with Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, being an activist during Indian independence.

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला हिंसा उन्मूलन दिवस

संयुक्त राष्ट्र (United Nations) इस दिवस को हर साल 25 नवंबर को मनाता है। महिलाओ के ऊपर बढ़ते अपराध एक सामाजिक मुद्दा है जो आज समाज के मिये एक समस्या बन गयी है। महिला समाज का उतना ही महतवपूर्ण अंग है जितना जितना एक पुरुष, परन्तु समाज में महिला को दबाया जा रहा है जो विकास के मार्ग पर बाधा है। महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा को रोकना और उसका जवाब देना मानवाधिकार, लैंगिक समानता और सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य प्राथमिकता है। हर देश और संस्कृति में महिलाओं को उनकी विविधता में हिंसा और जबरदस्ती से मुक्त जीवन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए और अधिक कार्रवाई की आवश्यकता है। महिलाओं के खिलाफ हिंसा पर डब्ल्यूएचओ-यूएन महिला संयुक्त कार्यक्रम द्वारा समर्थित रिपोर्ट से पता चलता है कि अपने पूरे जीवनकाल में 3 में से 1 महिला किसी अंतरंग साथी द्वारा शारीरिक या यौन हिंसा या गैर-साथी से यौन हिंसा का शिकार होती है।

वर्ल्ड काइंडनेस डे

वर्ल्ड काइंडनेस डे एक पॉजिटिव शक्ति और दया के भाव पर आधारित है जो पूरे समाज में हमें अच्छे काम करने के लिए प्रेरित करता है।वर्ल्ड काइंडनेस डे को विश्व दया दिवस भी कहा जाता है। यह दिन हर साल 13 नवंबर को मनाया जाता है। एक जानकारी के अनुसार यह विश्व दयालु आंदोलन द्वारा 1998 में राष्ट्रों की दयालुता गैर-सरकारी संगठनों के गठबंधन में पेश किया गया था। यह कनाडा, जापान, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, नाइजीरिया और संयुक्त अरब अमीरात सहित कई देशों में मनाया जाता है। साल 2009 में, सिंगापुर, इटली और भारत ने पहली बार इस दिन को मनाया था। इस दिन लोगों को जोड़ने के लिए धर्म, राजनीति, लिंग, धन और रंग के बीच के विभाजन को भरने का प्रयास किया जाता है।

राष्ट्रीय कानून दिवस

भारत में हर साल 26 नवम्बर को "राष्ट्रीय कानून दिवस" अथवा "राष्ट्रीय विधि दिवस"के रूप में मनाया जाता है। क्योंकि इसी दिन संविधान सभा द्वारा भारत के संविधान को अपनाया गया था। "विधि दिवस" मनाये जाने की परम्परा सर्वप्रथम भारत के प्रख्यात विधिवेत्ता डॉ. लक्ष्मीमल्ल सिंघवी के प्रयासों और सुप्रीम कोर्ट बार एशोशिएशन द्वारा सन 1979 में प्रारंभ हुई। तब से हर साल यह दिवस पूरे भारत में राष्ट्रीय कानून दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इस दिवस को भारतीय "संविधान दिवस" के रूप में भी जाना जाता है।
